When I gave my consent for this CME course, pertaining to Diabetes Mellitus, I was thinking that, what is the need for this course, as I am already doing my practice since last 25 years and treated majority of patients of Diabetes with considerable relief.
Now, after 3 full days of extensive training and discussions, I reviewed my thoughts and now of firm belief, that necessity of such short training programme do exist in all fields of medicine, irrespective of age and experience and only way to describe its utility is to subject ourselves for such training programmes & then only we can appreciate them. |

I admire your concept and practical approach in teaching doctors to improve their practice. In fact this is the need of this hour in our country. Once you pass your exams even your own college wont allow you to come for a refresher course. If you go to some big institute, You are an interruption and consultants give you a cold shoulder and do not want to share their skills. As, I am M.D. ( Medicine ) and doing non-invasive & invasive (PPI, angiographies and angioplasties). I know how I learned all this. I think people from other specialties to do the same thing as your, to improve their practice & must believe in "SANDEEPAN". |
